One category. Considered deeply.
A crossbody looks simple until you live with one. A few centimeters change how it sits. A strap changes how it moves. A pocket changes what you reach for.
Weight changes whether you still want to carry it six hours later. That's why we focus on the details that matter once the bag leaves the shelf and becomes part of your day.
Most retailers treat the crossbody as one category among dozens. We chose to focus on it — specialization lets us evaluate each bag for how it sits, how it carries, how it ages, instead of stocking everything and hoping something fits.
No invented heritage. Trust comes from transparency, photography, specifications and service. We only associate a specific leather, dimension or detail with a product when it's confirmed.
Material Standards
What we require of the leather.
We don't label a leather "full-grain" or "top-grain" unless it's confirmed. Where a finish changes the surface — pebbled, quilted, perforated, matte — we say so, and we say what's underneath.
No bonded leather presented as solid. No synthetic presented as leather. No weight, dimension or strap range rounded to flatter the bag — every figure is measured from the piece itself.
When a specification can't be verified, we leave it out rather than guess.

Editorial Standards
How we work.
Every guide on this site is written, reviewed and fact-checked by our editorial team. We publish only what we can verify — no invented specifications, no fabricated reviews, no manufactured heritage.
When a specification isn't confirmed, we say so. When imagery is placeholder, we label it. When we don't know, we research until we do — or we leave it out.
Our evaluation criteria — proportion, strap placement, weight, organization, closure, leather, hardware and daily usefulness — are applied consistently to every bag we consider.
