Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 19, 2026
Our commitment
LeatherCrossbodyBag.com is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are continuously improving the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, and to comply with applicable accessibility laws.
What we aim for
- Semantic, valid HTML that screen readers and assistive technology can parse.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation across menus, search, product pages, and the cart — every interactive element reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Visible focus indicators so keyboard users always know where they are.
- Touch targets of at least 44×44px on mobile for comfortable interaction.
- Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.2 AA for body text and user-interface components.
- Descriptive alt text for product and editorial imagery, and meaningful labels for icons.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences — animations are disabled when the user opts in.
- A logical heading order and landmarks so content can be navigated by structure.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:
- Some third-party content (e.g. embedded media or social feeds) may not meet our accessibility standards.
- Older product photography may have alt text that is descriptive but not yet optimized for all assistive devices.
- Some interactive components in the cart and checkout may require further keyboard testing.
We are actively working to address these. If you find an issue, please report it — see below.
Compatibility with assistive technology
The site is designed to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and voice-control software. We test across major browsers and devices, and aim to maintain compatibility as we add features.
If you hit a barrier
If any part of the site is difficult to use with assistive technology, or you need help completing an action (placing an order, accessing account details), please contact us. Describe the issue and the page where it occurred, and we will work to fix it or provide an accessible alternative.
Feedback and improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the site regularly, act on feedback, and update our practices as standards evolve. If you have suggestions that would make the site easier to use, we would like to hear from you.
