Editorial Standards
How we work.
Our commitment to verified specifications, honest reviews and transparent authorship — and the process behind every guide on this site.
Our mission
LeatherCrossbodyBag.com exists to help people choose the right leather crossbody bag. We focus on one category because specialization lets us evaluate each bag properly — for how it sits, how it carries, how it ages — instead of stocking everything and hoping something fits.
What we publish
Buying guides, size and fit guides, leather guides, care guides and comparisons. Every article is written by our editorial team and reviewed before publication. We publish only what we can verify from manufacturer specifications, industry references and hands-on evaluation.
What we don't do
We don't invent specifications. We don't fabricate reviews. We don't manufacture brand heritage. When a specification isn't confirmed, we say so — or we leave it out. When imagery is placeholder, we label it. When we don't know, we research until we do.
How we evaluate
Every bag we consider is evaluated against the same criteria: proportion, strap placement, weight, organization, closure, leather, hardware and daily usefulness. These criteria are applied consistently, regardless of price or brand.
Fact-checking
Every guide is fact-checked before publication. Dimensions, leather types, care instructions and comparisons are verified against manufacturer specifications and industry references. When information changes, we update the guide and note the update date.
Transparency
Each article carries a byline, a publication date and a last-updated date. Each product page lists only confirmed specifications. Our review system publishes only real reviews from real buyers — never fabricated testimonials.
Corrections
If we publish something that's wrong, we correct it and note the correction. If you spot an error, contact us and we'll review it promptly.
